Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Graphic Designer with proficiency in English, Arabic, and Coptic to join our team, focusing on print design. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the Coptic language, including knowledge of the Coptic alphabet, prayer songs, and letter shapes, as well as a familiarity with the Coptic rituals associated with art and design. This role involves creating culturally respectful and visually impactful print materials, incorporating these traditional elements into modern design formats.
As a Print Designer, you will work closely with our creative team to design a variety of printed materials, such as brochures, posters, flyers, and banners, while ensuring that designs reflect Coptic cultural and religious practices in both form and content. Your role will blend modern design techniques with Coptic visual traditions to produce high-quality printed products for various applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and produce print materials, including brochures, posters, flyers, banners, and other marketing collateral.

• Integrate Coptic language elements (alphabet, prayer songs, letter shapes) into designs, ensuring cultural accuracy and respect for Coptic traditions.

• Incorporate Coptic art rituals and religious practices into design work, ensuring the designs reflect the sacred and ritualistic nature of the art.

• Prepare design files for print production, ensuring they are print-ready and meet technical specifications.

• Maintain consistency in design across various print projects, ensuring that all printed materials align with the brand identity.

• Collaborate with project managers, copywriters, and other creatives to ensure designs meet the needs of clients and the project objectives.

• Work with printers and vendors to ensure final printed products meet quality standards and production specifications.

• Manage multiple print design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.

• Oversee and assist in the print production process as needed.
   

Qualifications:

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, Arabic, and Coptic (spoken and written).

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in print design, with a focus on creating high-quality printed materials.

• Knowledge of Coptic Language and Rituals:

• Familiarity with the Coptic alphabet, prayer songs, and letter shapes.

• Understanding of Coptic rituals associated with art and design, and how they influence visual aesthetics, symbolism, and the creation of religious artifacts.

• Design Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Strong understanding of print production processes and techniques, including preparing files for print.

• Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout in the context of print media.

• Creativity and Attention to Detail: Ability to integrate cultural elements while maintaining a modern design aesthetic, ensuring that all designs are visually compelling and culturally sensitive.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic, and Coptic, enabling effective collaboration with teams and clients.

• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with cultural or religious organizations, especially those with a focus on Coptic heritage and traditions.

• Familiarity with different print materials and finishes (e.g., textured paper, embossing, foil stamping).

• Experience in large-format print design (e.g., banners, posters).

• Knowledge of pre-press processes and troubleshooting issues in the print production workflow.
